Medical cannabis

Medical cannabis, or medical marijuana, can refer to using cannabis and it is cannabinoids to deal with disease or improve symptoms; however, there is no single decided definition. Using cannabis as a medicine is not rigorously scientifically tested, often due to production restrictions along with other governmental regulations. There's limited evidence suggesting cannabis may be used to reduce vomiting and nausea during chemotherapy, to improve appetite in individuals with HIV/AIDS, and also to treat chronic pain and fits. Its use for other medical applications, however, is insufficient for conclusions about safety or efficacy.

Short-term use boosts the chance of both major and minor negative effects. Common negative effects include dizziness, feeling tired, vomiting, and hallucinations. Long-term results of cannabis are not clear. Concerns include memory and cognition problems, risk of addiction, schizophrenia in young people, and the chance of children taking it by accident.
